The Stroller Diaries: I’m still pregnant over there May 3, 2010

Posted by Erin F. Wasinger in Being a mama, It's how we roll.

My other blog is slightly delayed (on purpose, to accommodate that whole baby thing that just eats up free time). But you get the idea. This one’s about how Alice hates napping here. Yeah, that whole eternal struggle.

It’s one of the reasons I’m terrified of my mom leaving — my mom’s been Alice’s naptime buddy, her playtime buddy. After Mom leaves, does it make me a bad mom to ship my toddler to the sitter’s even if I’m at home, so I can nap — oh, I mean, wash bottles and make sure the house is clean for more than 30-second stretches of time? I think it might, but …

I’m not sure how I’m supposed to feel about that.

Erin… I sent Skylar to daycare EVERY SINGLE DAY of my maternity leave. No lie. It doesn’t make you a bad mom. It makes you a smart one. =) (You get to nap, clean, AND bond with #2)

PS. Alice will stay sane with the joys of her routine.

Erin…it makes you a smart mama
