“And Mommy and Daddy’ll live like they did before they had a kid.”
“YEAH. Late nights, going to shows, staying out late …”
“Or absolutely nothing different.”
“Yeah, we’ll just sit at the table and not talk and say how much we miss you.”
“This might not be very awesome.”
Do I detect some hesitation about Alice’s furlough with us? Come on…you always have her! Time to let the spoiling begin. She will eat vegetables while she’s with us too. Promise.
