You know how, visiting that cool friend of yours in New York City (hi, Erika!) or Chicago, you have a plethora of choices about what to do — the art museum! The park!
Well, it’s exactly like that in Oshkosh. Only without the huge art museum and Central Park. The Paine Art Center is awesome, but it doesn’t take up much of a weekend, if ya know what I mean.
We sat in my family room, mom, Bernie and Dave and I, and tried to decide what to do yesterday. And in Oshkosh, when it’s snowing, anyhow, it’s hard.
“Well, what do you normally do?” Mom asked, not wanting to impose.
Dave and I looked at eat other. “Uh … sit around? Go get groceries?”
“What do you feel like doing?”
“I don’t know, what do yoooou feel like doing?”
The conversation is maddening.
So, we went bowling, because it was fresh in my mind since I was supposed to have gone Thursday night.
I’d post the scores here, but really? Is that important? Isn’t sportsmanship and spending time with your family more important? The numbers really aren’t. Especially when you don’t break 80 either game.

HA! At least you have a bit of an excuse for the low scores. It can’t be easy to bowl with a pregnant belly, can it?
Dave and I just went bowling today!
YAY! I totally LOVED that shout-out in your blog!!
However – NO, I do NOT remember that time that you and Dave visited me in New York, even though there is a blow-up mattress in my living room with your names on it!
I was totally talking theoretically, judging by the all the visitors who get blogged about on YOUR blog!
I’m totally coming to New York to see you … just as soon as I’m done doing this baby-birthing thing.
